My name is Aayush Singha Roy and I’m currently working as a Research Scientist at NielsenIQ in Recommendation System Group within the Core Models Team as part of Architecture and Innovation Wing. I have pursued PhD in Computer Science from University College of Dublin where I have specialized in the field of A.I. with a thesis focus on Session based Slate Recommender System via Reinforcement Learning.

I have been a member of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics and I did my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Neil Hurley. I finished my Summer Internship 2025 and 2024 at Adobe Research and Adobe India with Media Data Science Research (MDSR) Lab, respectively. I have a MS Research from IIT Delhi and a BS in Mathematics from NIT Agartala.
